My name is Katrina Marie and I have been working in events for over 10 years. After finishing my theatre program in college, I started waiting tables while exploring the entertainment industry. At 21, I was offered my first management position, and by 23 I became the General Manager for a downtown Toronto nightclub. Responsible for coordinating corporate events, TIFF parties and industry nights, I immediately fell in love with the production and energy that filled the room.
With my passion for theatre, I found a connection between live productions and events, and that was when Events Inspired was born.

My love for events began in my teenage years as a banquet server, going above and beyond working frontline making a couple’s big day the best it could possibly be. My fascination with events brought me to join a décor team to better understand what it truly takes and lead me to the Special Event Management program at George Brown College.
With a background in singing/songwriting and live performance, having the opportunity to combine live production and events is truly a dream come true.
I believe that there is something truly amazing about bringing people together in one room, big or small, and creating an unforgettable atmosphere.
